It’s Nearly Thanksgiving…
It’s a short this week for me at work. I’m off from Wednesday for the rest of the week. It’s Noah’s birthday on Wednesday and then Thursday is Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to some time off.
We plan to hit Frankie’s on Wednesday to celebrate Noah’s birthday. On Thursday we’re going to go to the park for a walk - probably Crab Tree Park. I’ve just noticed they have fishing spots there - I mean to take the boys fishing some time.
It’s forcasted to be 72df on Wednesday and slightly colder on the Thursday and Friday (possible rain).
Last weekend we went to see the Christmas lights swiched on down at a local mall. Lifehouse where playing which was pretty cool. They played from 6.30 - 7.15pm. At 7.30pm we were live on TV while Lifehouse played again followed by other entertainment. The kids were getting bored, so we left before the lights were actually switched on!
We got Noah a bike for his birthday. He’s been out most of the afternoon on it today. Nathan is finding it difficult waiting for his bike to arrive from Ireland in the container. Poor fella.
Church was good on Sunday. Enjoyed the worship time and the message. After church we drove to an factory outlet mall down in Smithfield, NC. It wasn’t as good as we had expected, but not bad all the same. I bought some running shoes and shorts (!!). Now it’s down to difficult task of actually putting them on and running!
Had our first video chat with Mum and Dad on the webcam… they got a tour of the house which was great fun!
